Per Porsche the 2023 992.1 has a larger screen and updated software in the infotainment system. I use these systems and apple CarPlay a lot in particular for using my iPhone gps on car screen. Also Porsche says the seats have been improved for more comfort. Does anyone have any experience to guide me on whether the 2023 improvements are significantly better than the previous years 992's. Thanks?

I can't comment on the seats as I had 14-ways and now have 18-ways, but the new PCM is definitely an upgrade from the previous gen PCM (mine was from 2020, I believe there were minor updates to the 2021 models but it was still 5.x). PCM 6 is completely revamped and the menus are quite different, but the general functionality is similar. The screen size is the same, but the OS is more responsive, Homelink works better, and CarPlay now leverages the full screen. I only have had limited time with it, but I definitely think it's better. However, keep in mind that Porsche lags in tech, so YMMV.
