992 Convertible Top Failure

My brand new 992 CS2 with 400 miles on it suddenly had a convertible top failure warning light come on. We were driving it with top down, my husband put the car in Sport mode and immediately the convertible failure warning notice showed up. Said it was "safe to drive" but see the dealer for repair! We got to our destination which was a restaurant for dinner, attempted to put the top up and the mechanism stopped working mid stream. We said we better go home and drove it back home with the rear lid up in the air as it wouldn't budge either direction with the controls. Dealer advised call Porsche 24 hour service for flat bed to pick it up and bring to dealership. They had it for 2 weeks and had to order 4 parts from Germany for repair. Works fine now but not much explanation what went wrong. Anyone else experience anything like this on your brand new 992 Cab? I love the car but why???

Interestingly enough, my brand new C2S is having an issue with the glass sunroof. It will open and it will tilt for venting, but when I try to retract it, it goes down and the opens right back up (tilting, not completely open). I was able to get it to close by holding down the tilt button until it stayed, but I haven’t opened the roof since. My dealer is collecting the car next week to work on this and to fix a very annoying creaking/squeaking sound that started coming from the driver’s seat. They put some lubrication on it a month ago and it stopped for all of 3 days. It came right back. Every time I get in or shift gears, it makes an incredibly annoying creak, as if the car had 160,000 miles, not 1,600 miles!!!! Otherwise, I love this car and it’s probably the best car I’ve ever owned, but this little things should not happen on a car that costs as much as it does.
