I've used WeatherTech in other cars and they're solid. For my 992 as it will be seasonal, I'm on the fence with that but probably won't bother.

Ditto! WeatherTech (perfect fit) for the winter in the SUV but don’t plan anything special for the 992. That said, after a long hike last summer, the muddy boots 😱 went in the frunk! 😅

I used weathertech for years but switched about 4 years ago because OEM (dodge, MB, Porsche, VW) were not as slippery.. Weathertech have a bit better coverage for extreme conditions which the 992 will never experience. I’ll do the same as Charles. Muddy boots will go in the trunk and I’ll replace the carpet mats if they ever get worn which is unlikely.

I’ll probably pass also. They must’ve offered them to me because nobody else wants them!

I ended up, picking up a set of OEM all weather mats due to an agreement to buy some odds and ends in lieu of any added dealer markup. A buddy of mine has a set in his and likes them. I’m going to keep them in there for now. They offer quite a bit of coverage and don’t look that bad. My black interior helps them blend in.

AC, they do look nice!
I have the OEM all Wx mats and really like the appearance and the fit. No regrets.

I picked up a set from Suncoast Parts...you never know when you may spill unintentionally or any as such for that matter.

Yeah I did see those and may consider getting a set. They look pretty nice.

Also picked up a few other accessories from Suncoast...I couldn't resist!

Me too. Usually do Weather Tech but for some reason don't see an all-season option for them, just the full liner.

Yeah I usually get all weather Weather Tech but for some reason don't offer them for the 992. Only have the liner style which may be a bit overkill for a summer vehicle and/or the trim to fit.

And you don't want that slippery rubber under your feet when you have 3 pedals! 😅 Well, I don't. It's fine in the SUV for winter driving.

in fact, I just had my mothers car detailed over the weekend. They sprayed something on those rubber mats that were so slippery. I was afraid for her. The detailer said it would cure in about a day or just take a microfiber towel to wipe them down. It was a mess!

Armorall on rubber mats wil do that! Yikes! But they'll shine. ;)

Oh, they shine but they’re dangerous as heck!

Good point for us 3 pedal people!

Some "detailers" are real hacks. I like cleaning a car myself with minimal chemicals. They love spraying ArmorAll everywhere then it's sticky as hell. Only good place for ArmorAll imo is on tires.

Very true but her car is not garage kept and it needed a deep clean. They clay barred it and steam cleaned carpets looks brand new. Keep my Mommy happy!

Ya def, our regular mobile service gentleman knows that its a standing request no armorall or anything as such on the rubber mats other than vacuum, wash and wipe.

I could not agree more. Another thing I make sure on, no Armorall anywhere other than the tires. No bumper, no plastics, no interior other than leather conditioner.
