I am expecting a Macan GTS in December. I saw the hoopla at the port. I have not spoken to my dealership about it yet. The article that I had read mention specific brands but not Porsche. I don’t know the logistics of which cars go on what boat. Is your app saying there’s a delay?

Just wondering if anyone was waiting for their car to be loaded on a ship in Emden

I've got a Cayenne Turbo GT on its way to Emden. My dealer said he would let me know once a vessel has been assigned. My 911 came over on the vessel Sunshine Ace back in September. The Sunshine Ace departed Emden on 10/29 and will arrive in Jacksonville on 11/15.Just wondering if anyone was waiting for their car to be loaded on a ship in Emden

And my car just got there on the 9th and was supposed to load same day. Emden does all VW and Porsches and Bremerhaven do the rest. That’s what I’ve heardI’m at Emden
My 992 o came out of Emden too but I hope those cars at Bremerhaven aren't funneled into Emden creating a second mess . If there simply is no more room the next car has to go somewhere . Like I said . I haven't asked or heard anything . Just saw the article .I’m at Emden
I talked to my guy, he’s the GM in Monterey, and said that cars that go out of Emden are always first in line. Porsche people also waited for months at the beginning and mid year. And… they better not!!! Lol!!! So hopefully all will go well. Your car is on the water?

It was supposed to take a month. However if you recall a boat sank and then another boat faced cars getting loose and damaged. Those two events delayed my car for another three weeks. No, I’m going to Benicia in California. I wish I could land on the east coast. Would make it sooner. I’m in Chicago, my dealer is in Monterey. So after landing in port, to dealer prepping, THEN there’s the long haul, IN WINTER…. From Monterey, through the mountains, to Chicago!!!! 😳. So, you’re not on a ship yet. I’m like a lunatic checking which vessels are in and coming in to Emden!!! Lol!!! The dealer said he’s hoping to get it to me before Christmas, but there’s no way unless it gets on a ship today. Any later than this, and that’s not going to happen. I’ve had 3 Panamera’s and have loved every one of them!!! But it was time for a change and just couldn’t imagine having anything but a Porsche. So I went with the Targa GTS. It’s a 2023 so I’m glad it’s not a 22. But I’m SO excited about this!!!! Next to having my kids, this is one of the most exciting thing for me! Can’t wait! There is no app to track the Macan GTS. I’m going to call my sales person this week and get an estimated delivery day. He’ll check for me. I know those dates can change so I don’t get my hopes up until I get the call from him saying “it’s here”. Wow!!!!! Lucky you! This is just my 4th….. but in my whole life, I never imagined ever driving a Porsche, no less one like this. You must still get excited! I hope you do. I have a 2023 GT3 Touring that went into production last week after 18 mos. It is schld to go on a vessel end of Nov and the dlr as well as PCNA are still showing Dec delivery. It's the final countdown. Once on the vessel, mine took a 4-5 weeks to arrive to the dealer. Guess it depends how far you are from the US port.The snow has arrived "Up North" and a bunch of us are storing our cars for winter.
