I’ve got a 992 Carrera Cabriolet on order and am curious about the dimensions and arrangement for stowage of luggage with the back seat rests folded down AND the wind shield engaged. I‘m wondering if there is room for x2 cabin cases (one each for me and the mrs)?
Can one of you lucky people who’ve already taken delivery can measure it for me?
Also I’m uncertain if their is a raised restraining bar (on the back of each seat rest to stop luggage sliding forward) or not. I’ve seen photos with and without them but do not see this as an option. Thanks.

Hi

I can' t do that for you because mine is a coupé. Even though it' s strange why we can' t find this interior measures anywhere, neither in the manual...

FYI, no restraining bar on my 992S cab. Don't think the new generation has them nor are they needed, IMHO. Car not accessible to me right now so can't measure. Space is tight, however, and affected somewhat by seat position. Without having personally tested your scenario and without knowing the dimensions of your luggage, I'm inclined to say that with windscreen engaged, a couple of very small luggage pieces should fit upright just fine and shouldn't be a problem refitting with top up should it start to rain or snow or sleet or rain. ;)
