Base vs S suspension

Is the suspension on the base C2 the same on a C2S especially when SPASM is not selected as an option?. With SPASM I know I get the 10mm drop and stiffer arms....which is unavailable for the C2

I guess what I'm asking is the handling on a bare bones S the same as a bare bones base C2.?

It isn’t the same, but they are both outstanding. The Carrera T fits the gap. It’s a bass car with an outstanding suspension and sport Chrono standard. The sport package on the S still won’t be a GTS. The GTS is a bit stiffer and offers the lightweight package, which are many of the amenities shared in the T . The GT cars are the purest suspension. They are not particularly ride compliant as a daily, but I’m finding that my friend is actually adjusting to it with his touring. He has driven that car quite a bit around town.

anyone know that actually isn't the same?

I’m not sure if I even drove both back to back if I would be able to tell.

I agree.
To a regular driver, going about your day on city streets I dont think one can tell the difference. If there are any technical differences, the track would be the only place to feel them. Acceleration, braking are a different story.

I think you guys would be able to tell. Suspension is such a personal component. Of course you would not tell the limits but just basic things are noticed too. My 992 is very different than my former 991 or 997 even when driven back to back.

Hm. You have way more “seat” time in P cars than me. I will go with that. OP should take that too.

I just re read his post . He mentioned "no SPASM" . They are equal then . Curb weight and such differ but this would be very minimal.
I definitely feel the difference in ride between my GTS and my 991.2 base. But that is not the OPs question.
