Hand wash on my cars only. Not by me🤪

Yeah. I actually like washing my cars (do not do a great job, but still), my car wash person does a great job, not sure what product they use though.😫
I have not used a car wash since the early 1980's . That even goes for touch less . They used the cheapest rotgut soap that stops everything to look clean . What does one expect for 5 bucks ? The brushes I never used even as a teen in New York when everyone there did . I used to wash and wax my cars myself until I learned about my detailer . I was told back in 2008 that she can make a car look better than the day it was delivered and they were right . People have flown him into their country to do a car collection . He has clients that are car collectors and even can restore classic cars . The guy not only has talent but has a lot of class and dedication .
I still remember.the day he switched from clay bar to ceramic and convinced me to spend the extra and leave him my black car . Keep in mind this is a solid non metallic black which can swirl so easily that all one has rio do is breathe on it . At the time of this photo the car was 10 years old . Its now 16 years old , When I showed up to pick up the car this is what I arrived to see as he was finishing up. I left him with my car for 3 days .

Noooo!
Washing the cars myself (two bucket method) is the only way to go and also my "therapy"! They both get full detailing at least once a year and the Macan gets hand car washes in winter. Last summer, a jogger stopped and asked if they were both mine? Told him I wash just the car wash guy! He took a good look at both Porsches and went on his way. Guess that with my gym shorts and sweaty t-shirt I just looked the part.

No more washing for me…I only detail with products suggested for ceramic and PPF. Fast and easy!Noooo!
