Don't worry Scott, i followed your instructions and voted however that non-T Gentian vote is throwing off the beautiful silver hue!
Well technically GT Silver is ahead .26%!Found this poll on RL for the 992 Exterior Color Chosen. Look who's tied at 13%

I'm really surprised the see Guards Red topping the charts. Maybe because it's always been offered, but interesting that my GT Silver is the Canadian go-to choice!Apologies, I also just read the title before voting. That said, I do hope to see, along the timeless GT silver, some ''colorful'' Ts, whether they're red, green, blue, yellow or orange. 😅 There is one Python Green vote so far.
You must have seen this old survey before. I found it interesting.
That is sweet and would love it on a 911. Gotta love a city who has a Corvette in is "Museum of fine arts"!How about Olive Green metallic? The 1958 Fancy Free Corvette is presently in the lobby at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Actually I'm not that surprised myself. Black is a color that hides curves and don't think it compliments the beautiful curves of the 911 at all and besides that as others have said it's hard to keep clean and hard to keep swirl free. I would reserve black for either a Lincoln, Caddy or Jag and that's about it.I am a bit surprised how unpopular black is.
I am going to eat my own words here...it's another one of those "there is no wrong answer" things. My brother-in-law had an '86 911 Turbo (930) in black and i was in love. Would definitely get that one in black. Come to think of it, i don't think I've seen a 992 in black around here so i should reserve my judgement until i see one in person. I think it's more the maintenance that would turn me off of choosing that color.Oh trust me the curves are there😉
Ok, so now show me the dirty pic! Lol. Yeah that's gorgeous. My BB
Hey my computer guy is begging me to switch my build to Python green with an aero kit, so everyone is entitled to their opinion!Nice recovery! 😅
You had me until your last paragraph sounded a tad "boyish"!Every color is beautiful but it’s the multiple possible combinations that gives the 992 the « swag » you’re going for.
Triple black definitely gives it a « mean machine » look. The beige interior softens things up.
Gentian over two tone grey and chalk is more « urban chic » (and may I say younger or even boyish)
Silver is the most classic Porsche color ever.
GT Silver with black wheels and black accents with carbon roof says « spaceship » (see Larry)
GT Silver with classic wheels over black has a timeless and « understated » elegance
GT Silver cab over Bordeaux red and matching top is also classy but with a younger and more punchy look.
A white 911 or 718 is very sporty because it’s a Motorsport color but a white Panamera is girly 😉, unless you live in Beverly Hills! 🤪
Finally, GT Silver with Carrera S wheels in Gloss Titanium Grey over black with lizard green stitching should be pretty badass (I’m starting to lack inspiration with GT Silver).
What I don’t agree with is that a man's Porsche should be Black, Silver or White.
If you want attention that's the color! As my only 911 i need one that covers all the bases. Besides i already have an orange car!I test drove a Lizzard green 992. All the younger guys in the dealership were hypnotized by it. Even my SA was in love with it. I found it gorgeous but couldn’t see myself driving it daily. Weird how as I’m getting older I find any color BOLD!

No, i have to admit, i do love the open air feeling of a convertible so let's keep them all for a bit and see what shakes out this summer! The 1M is a keeper for sure as that's an investment now.Oh yeah, I forgot the 1M. Very nice! Guess you’ll be trading the Z4 M?
Dayum!Saw this yesterday. Do it! 😜 View attachment 2272
And let's not forget what Jeremy Clarkson thought of it at the time. The car is an absolute hooligan.I love the 1M commercials . Here's one . They released a few at the time.
I think he was talking about mine but yours isn't too shabby either! Lol.
@BobbyG having said that your GT Silver over bordeaux was my original spec on my S when i put down my deposit 1.5 years ago for the S, before the T came around. It's gorgeous and as @CH61 would say "understatedly elegant" or something to that effect!I think he was talking about mine but yours isn't too shabby either! Lol.
Yup, locked on 3/3/23. From other videos i have seen I think the 100lb weight loss already includes the MT weight savings. Sorry Larry, still have the sunroof. For me the satisfaction of the sunroof outweighs the gain as i don't plan on tracking it. "In the words of my SA, Porsche wouldn't have offered it as an option if they thought it would significantly effect the performance" but i know what you're saying. You'll be happy to know though that i passed on the full leather, 18 ways and ventilated seats. I'll just have to drive it around in my underwear to compensate. Are you locked? Do you notice the video stated that the car was 100 pounds lighter? It might even be less with the manual because the car in the video was a PDK. The moment you add that sunroof you had at least 40 pounce right in the center of the car. Just saying.
That is sweet Scott! Well so far TYD is working for me (as my SA thought it wasn't working in Canada) and shows i'm going into production 3/23 so you're a couple of weeks ahead of me, and since your build is similar to mine, i just may have to live vicariously through your pics if i don't get any! Good job!My choice? GT Silver, status today:
