First one is probably nothing . Brake light might need to be replaced .
Thats what I’m thinking…the engine warning only came on once for about a minute.First one is probably nothing . Brake light might need to be replaced .
So the “engine control” was nothing as expected but the raised brake light will need another trip. The tech needed to leave at 11 and one called out. they stated they would need the car for several days! I looked at the weekly weather and so NO WAY! Gonna be in the eighties all week so I will re-schedule. They did give me a VERY NICE coffee table book for my trouble so that was cool….keep ya posted. No news yet except my post was “Moved” as it was not “Porsche News”????
That’s what they did and couldn’t determine if it was the light or the wiring. Slow process for sure to locate the source.kind of a bummer they need car for several days…..I'm no mechanic but it seems like they could hook it up to a scanner to see if it's throwing a code and then schedule repair. Maybe they've already done that with no code showing and need to further research. Anyway, hope it's a relatively quick and easy fix.
No snacks? What is this world coming to?! On a side note that 3D tach looks soooo good. Too bad for those getting the 992.2. Good luck and pick a good rainy day to bring her in.So the “engine control” was nothing as expected but the raised brake light will need another trip. Plenty of snacks my friend! Had coffee and Grandmas vanilla cookies while waiting for the disappointing news! Hopefully they will lose more money on me next time too.No snacks? BTD, I wound up taking my car back without it being repaired. This weeks weather is just too good to pass up so I’ll reschedule when they have a full staff in place. 80’s here all week so I’d rather enjoy it.kind of a bummer they need car for several days…..I'm no mechanic but it seems like they could hook it up to a scanner to see if it's throwing a code and then schedule repair. Awesome enjoy it! Heading out this AM to run errands and I’ll be ready for the haters!Understand, gorgeous weather is too precious to waste. Spectacular in the Carolinas so it's top down to the mountains time!
So another visit to Dealership this AM. FINALLY told me upper brake light is bad. They ordered one so need to wait for another possibly coming from Atlanta. Have another visit planned on the 27th……good grief! That’s what they did and couldn’t determine if it was the light or the wiring. Slow process for sure to locate the source.
Very weird. It starts out working then a few miles in it goes south. This is the 3rd visit! That promised me lunch for the inconvenience when they replace it.Sounds like the fix is more complicated than just replacing burned out bulb(s)-guessing the whole light strip needs to be replaced?
Bobby, you use the brakes too often!Very weird. It starts out working then a few miles in it goes south. This is the 3rd visit! That promised me lunch for the inconvenience when they replace it.
Only when my Mother is in the car!Bobby, you use the brakes too often!![]()
Yep, the one on the spoiler. This time they swapped one out and no faults. Dealership doesn’t stock many parts any more.So is “upper brake light” the one on the spoiler? Enjoy the lunch……seems like you've earned it!
