Doubt about privacy glass. 992 targa

Dear all,
I'm in the process of buying a 992 targa. I studied how to configure it, and now I have few doubts left, if not a very big one: the privacy glass.
I summarize the two aspects that cause me this conflict:
PROS: In my opinion, the black glass makes the line more sporty and aggressive
CONS: Having the black rollbar, I'm afraid that the dark glass leads to losing sight of the rollbar itself, which in my opinion is the main feature that identifies porsche targa.

So I ask for your opinion. Is privacy glass actually very dark in sunlight? Do you have experiences with the combination of black rollbar + privacy glass?

Thanks for your advice.

I think you posted on RL but if not the thread does show pictures . I usually hate tint . I feel its makes. anew car look used and visibility is awful . I do like how it looks on the Targa though . That surprised but not enough to give up vision . Doubt about privacy glass. 992 targa - Rennlist - Porsche Discussion Forums

Funny. All my cars have tint (legal) i think it makes the car whole. Regardless the car colour.

Never tinted my car windows, probably never will.

I'd get the privacy glass and match sides with light tint.

In Italy it is not legal to darken the side windows, so only the rear glass would be dark

I like contrast so the color of the car (and or rollbar) would matter to me. So not a big fan of tint on darker colors even if it looks really nice on your Targa.

Here are 2 pics of the coupe in GB that we shared here before. Personal preference. In the second pic, no tint….but I suspect the window to be completely open and I like it! 🤪

I vote for zero tint.

I vote for something in the middle of those two pics. I don't like the black windows but a lighter tint makes the car look more cohesive

I actually like the look of the dark tinted back window and it goes well with the black top (when up) but not sure I like the idea that it won't match the other windows so would probably do without.
All my cars/suvs have always been tinted, even over the factory tint. I prefer the privacy. Front windshield included, I know - but to each their own! My 992 is completed tinted and flows seamlessly Black/White.

That’s what I did. I got 50% tint on sides and back. It looks perfect to me and blocks out most of the UV rays which is important in the Deep South. Too dark cheapens the car’s look imho.
