As much as it embarrasses me to admit it, I also paid for that "Alluminum LOOK Finish" (Plastic)! But hey, you got the "new" version since it looks different on the configurator from the 2022 Exclusive Design cap I got. Yeah, it looks nicer but you only see it when filling up. The worse thing is that I did the same thing on my old Macan. Who says you live and learn?

you will need to take a sliver off the plastic ridge each side then the aluminum cover simply slots on.
A sharp utility knife will work the OEM cap is plastic
