You could ceramic coat the car yourself. I have done at least a dozen cars. It does take a few days to complete and the coatings have lasted at least 3 years ( still counting ) but like any coating, as mentioned above, you need to still keep it clean and boosted. Do not do your first coating on a new luxury car but instead maybe a friends beat up car as it does take some practice to polish correct prior to coating. Even take a 3 day hands on class offered by vendors as these classes can be be very useful. I have seen hack jobs that people have paid for and thus decided to take classes n do it myself

Thanks Mark, i have considered that as i love to be hands on anyway, but as you say, i understand there is a technique to it and i wouldn't want to screw it up. That's a good idea to practice on a beater, and i may just consider that. What was the product you used if you don't mind me asking? And did you do it directly to the paint or over PPF?

Good point Mark! No way I would have the patience like other folks to pull that off.

Supplies/equipmnet used : For non PPF: I use Flex polishers (Orbital) and multiple types of pads depending on correction if needed. The polishes I have used are from Griots and Pinnacle. The coatings I have used (2-3 year coatings) are Gtech (Exo), Blackfire (Profi) and Carpro (C Quartz); and various toppings. For PPF ( I need to look in my records). Taking the 3 day class was really worth it.
