I have a 2020 992 C2 with just under 13K miles. I have the OEM Pirelli P Zero’s currently on it but looking to replace the set as the thread is getting low. The dealer is pushing the Pirelli’s again but I’m interested in the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. The reviews seem to be better and so is the tread life it seems. Does any lone have any real world experience and guidance?

I had the 4S on my last 991 and could not stand both the Pirelli (last car) and Goodyear (this car) . At 7K miles I replaced all 4 with the 4S . I love them !!!!

If you have the base 19"/20" wheels you also have the option of Continental Extreme Sport 02 tires. When I first got my 991.2 it had Pirellis on it. I went to Michelins (much better than the PZeros) and then the Contis (pros/cons vs Michelins). I would recommend either of these over the Pirellis for performance, wear, noise and ride quality.

Edit: Just looked on tirerack and the Contis are also available in the 20/21" size so it should fit either wheel that came with the C2.

I put a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my 2013 911 Turbo S. Also, I own a C8 Corvette and those tires are standard when you order the Z51 package. They are a great choice. Keep in mind they are summer tires. Don't do well in cold weather. Living in Florida, it's not an issue.

PS4S are the best all-around tire for the car. My base 992 came with them. I track my car so I quickly changed to Cup 2's, which gained 2-3 seconds at Barber in Birmingham. They wear much quicker, so I am torn on what to use next. replacing cup 2's after only 10 track days and less than a year can get expensive.

@Eric-Charleston I took delivery of my 911 on 3/10 and is wrapped Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. I love the 4S and have always purchased them as replacement tires. My '17 Audi S6 came with Goodyear and after sometime, I switched to the 4S. You will feel and see the difference. Go with the 4S hands down! I am a firm believer. But as @MarkWN they are summer tires so living here in Sunny SoCal with the SoCal "Winter" for us, they are perfect. Not sure where you are located bud.
