Looks like price increases in Canada. I knew Porsche was talking about raising prices in the summer....this is a bit early.

Price of a T went up around $10K, Freight up $1100, which all adds to the base calculation of the Luxury Tax here in Canada (+20%).

They did add the carbon bucket seats and Bose system to the available options, so I guess that's nice.

I have an allocation for a T with an April lock date - wondering if I get the new pricing or the pricing when I submitted by build to the dealer or am the beneficiary of the price increase.

My equivalent S Cab build went from $177 to $188k, it looks like US prices increased by about 8%. They removed Aventurine and possibly some other colors as well.

Where are you in the process? Have you signed papers and locked in your build?

The cost of these cars has skyrocketed in the past couple years with the Porsche increases and the Justin tax.

I went from one model year to another while i was waiting and got the new price. But once you have your allocation/lock date, I doubt that your price would change. Keep us posted.

My build locks in a couple of weeks. I submitted the "final" build last week and the only document I signed was when I was added to the waiting list for an allocation and gave a deposit. The document only referred to some basic terms; agree to trade in my Cayman and put a further deposit of 10%.

The entire deal goes from a base price of $132K to $177K after options, delivery, dealer fees and the Justin Tax. Add 12% more for sales tax.

All the 911s went up $9850 in base price (and PEC delivery in Atlanta is now $2000 instead of $600). Other than Bose now being an option, absolutely no other changes. Pure naked **** money grabbing by Porsche. I may have gotten lucky last Saturday as they may free up a 2023 build slot for my T in May instead of the 2024 slot in June. Right now my 2023 build price is almost $5k less than the 2024 BASE price. Only benefit is they jacked up the 718 prices too so I might get more for my 2017, LOL.

Yup, the base prices sound reasonable. The best part is sales tax on lux tax on income tax! Old man rant over.

Our timing sounds similar. I had a small deposit down while waiting for an allocation slot. A few weeks ago I put another 10 K down and signed papers when my allocation was secured. This is when I first got documentation from Porsche that I had a pending build. I assume this locked in my price. My build locks on April 4.

I haven’t heard that my price has changed but I also haven’t asked. I’m sure they won’t be shy about telling me if it has. I’ll let you know if I hear otherwise. 🤞
wow.. build prices have significantly increased across the board!
That is a large increase! Wow..
Come on man! This is crazy and WILL push future/current customers away. IMO.

Porsche weren’t kidding when they said they were going to make 20% profit on sales.

Sadly more often than not, when a company goes public all that seems to matter is shareholder value. Great for shareholders, maybe not so much for customers.

Wonder what impact new pricing will have on used prices?

It is a bit much. I don‘t like that jump in price….a bit arrogant.
Feeling blessed to not have been hit by this! Whew! These price increases should not deter those in the market for a Porsche.

One doesn’t buy a Porsche because they need it, rather it is because they want it ;)

Agreed. Same for me. Mine went up from deposit to allocation but once I got the allocation the final contract was signed and price finalized. I'd talk to your dealer about that. Also noticed that aluminum pedals are also an option now and looks like I missed out of the Bose, but I'll take the savings from the increase instead.
