Good question but I’m not sure anyone knows but corporate. My SA said 2 years for all new 911’s for a while….good luck!
Good question but I’m not sure anyone knows but corporate. My SA said 2 years for all new 911’s for a while….good luck!Hello all. From Toronto Canada. Just put in an order for a 911T. Was advised roughly 1.5 years till I get an allocation (currently in a ‘21 718BS). This would be my first 911.
Wondering if a 2024 or 2025 911T would come as a 992.2?
Would love to hear some thoughts on the T as a first 911.
Cheers.
I have a feeling that they will unveil it in 2024 . A 992T won't come until the end . With the 992.1 holding value as well as it has I don't see you losing much in value wait . There will always be another car "tomorrow" . Plus the 992.2 is supposedly hybrid . Spy shots show an interior similar to the Taycan . Prices will go up and we dont even have this car yet .Hello all. My guess is your dealership said "1.5 years" to round up because if it is sooner they look like champions. Talk to the GM . If you could early trade your car upon getting a definite slot it might help . Dont give a large deposit (2500 is fine ) and just wait .
Most of us here waited anywhere between 6 months to 2 years .

Welcome to the forum @Ario! Congrats on ordering your first 911! How are you liking your 718 while you wait for the 911T?Hello all. From Toronto Canada. Just put in an order for a 911T. Was advised roughly 1.5 years till I get an allocation (currently in a ‘21 718BS). This would be my first 911.

Scott, you will love the clutch and the manual Transmission!Yeah welcome though I'm certainly a newbie here too. We are neighbors, I'm in Buffalo. Love T.O., lots of good times there over the years. Here's my build: https://cc.porsche.com/icc/ccCall.d.../modelstart/all/default.ashx&webcode=PPCYCRQ3
The wheels are in gray, not Aurum. That's a configurator glitch that's been happening the last two days.
EDIT: actually that's not my exact build as I spec'd a heated GT steering wheel in RaceTex.
Tell your sales guy to contact Porsche and request ceramic brakes like they did on the 991. There’s your 10 grand right there. The brakes are the weakest link in the T. You will meet your criteria after that and have an amazing vehicle. You could also add the carbon fiber roof, which is another $4000. All those things contribute to the essence of the T . Its entire premise is to be light weight.Hello everyone.I put a downpayment mid-Nov for a 911T allocation. To my shocking surprise, less than 2 months later, I was told today that I have received an allocation. But I need to meet the minimum 37K option price on the car (rolling my eyes) I am short 11K. If I do proceed, the car will be here in July as a 2023 MY. I can't for the life of my find anywhere online if the new 911T will get the 992.2 treatment for 2024 or not. My SA told me that Porsche will make the T only for 2023 and 2024 and only as a 992.1. Would appreciate your input.
At that price, i think you should get an S. Seriously, I thought we didn't have ADMs and "option forcing" here in Canada. Geezz! Why would you buy PCCB or a carbon roof if you don't want one? That’s not a bad idea (the breaks). I will ask him. Issue is that Porsche is forcing me to add options I really don’t need which is causing the price to go up and this more tax and more luxury tax. I’m better off buying used.
Did you try other dealers? Curious if they do this in Montreal now. Crazy! 😡I’m with you. I’m shocked they’re forcing this. My SA said even if I get an S I need 37K worth of options. Ridiculous.
Course she’s not forcing you to add the options. This is a dealership thing that he’s doing to you. He makes 11% commission on the markup to get the car at MSRP. Anything above MSRP he’s making even more. He figures that if he loads the car up with options, it’s worth his while to give you the slot. I think it’s rather cruel to do that, but he may only have two or three allocations for a Carrera T. You could try another dealership but since you already have a slot, you may want to just try and see how your build turns out. That’s not a bad idea (the breaks). I will ask him. Issue is that Porsche is forcing me to add options I really don’t need which is causing the price to go up and this more tax and more luxury tax. I’m better off buying used.
Correct and the Canadian dealerships have shown themselves as brutal as the ones in California . My dealership charges MSRP and no pressure on the build. If they can't give a slot they won't and customers who are repeat buyers and VIP do get priority . Its not just the highest bidder .Spoke to Porsche Canada. They said Porsche doesn’t require certain amount of options but dealers can. They told me to try a different dealer. There is zero oversight and governance.
