Good morning everyone, I recently put down an allocation for a 911 4GTS at the beginning of august. My dealer said I am 9th in line for allocation and expects 12-14 months for my order. Not sure if that is 12-14 to get the car or just to get an allocation for order he was not specific. He is a friend of a friend so he is not really BSing me. Anyway I ordered the 4GTS in shark blue, gloss black package, rear wheel steering, front axle lift, navy blue leather with chalk stitch. Anything I should add?

The gts comes very well optioned as it is. Depending where you are do not forget seat heating/cooling, steering wheel heating. Plus, personalized things like leather wrapped steering column etc.
I got the heated steering wheel, but went with racetex, I like the feeling and have it on my RR as well. Also got heated and cool seats thanks for the reminder

You got my vote with Shark Blue »! Fantastic. I keep repeating that the 992 is a cool car and that it needs a cool color. Shark Blue is definitely cool and just stunning when seen in person and especially with the black package. It was between GB and SB for me. Finally went for Gentian because of my « age ». LOL! Figured Shark Blue was for the younger driver. 🤪 But it could be my next one as I get younger with time.
Gts comes with them. My sa refused to sell me the gts without them😝
Yes I stayed with the center locks, they looked great. Not my daily driver.

CH61 I hear you, I will assume I am young in my early 40s and my thought was if I am getting a toy it has to be loud both in sound and look. Thought about getting the aero kit, my wife said absolutely not. So I chose to win the war and lose that battle.😁

Funny you said this. My wife said (once the car arrived) where is the wing😳

My 58 year old wife actually likes SB…and the wing. Go figure. I’m 61 and thought we were too old. 😅 So I guess it’s not at all a question of age.

The « problem » will be getting your allocation. In Canada, it’s a 2 year waiting period now. 😰 Let’s say 18 months from order to delivery if you’re lucky. So, you’ll have plenty of time to play with the configurator and add lots more options. Although the GTS comes with all you need really.

P.S. By then @LessKrazy1 will have more than 251 km on his 4GTS and will be able to give you some practical advice. For now, he spends time more on boats! 😂
Congratulations! Nicely Done! Great choice. Super that you are on the list. Now you just have to wait. Just a couple of thoughts below.

The high gloss black package will look great with the shark blue. You may want to add the option of high glass black to the rear Model Designation and rear Porsche logo to keep that high gloss style on the rear of the vehicle. I always found the Premier Package valuable for the Lane Change Assist and power folding mirrors for parking in the garage. The Premier package also includes a surround video view of the vehicle along with Bose sound system.

We also opted for the electric sunroof and 14 way power sport seats so that we can have memory settings on the seats for when the wife wants to drive. Wanted matrix lights but Dealer would not order due to supply issues. My PDCC was removed after a couple of weeks by PNA due to supply issues. You may want to consider the front and rear pre wire for a Porsche dashcam. While this will help with the prewire, you may be regulated to the install of the Porsche dashcam. I install Blackvue after the fact. Great choice on the Rear Axle Steering. Note the RAS requires the battery to be lithium and if not a Daily Driver you will need to trickle charge the battery to maintain health (porsche accessory). I provide the two reference video's below to take another deeper look on the numerous potential options, as others have mentioned above, such as heated steering wheel, porsche crests, power steering plus etc etc and my favorite the Fire Extinguisher (you had to be there riding navigator in your buddy's car when someone pulled up and said....hey do you know your car is on fire!). Stay Safe.
