I thought there was an off topic section so I hope this post is ok with whoever runs the show.

1) My modded 2007 Turbo went kaput . Its the first repair and is a big one . It took 15 years . I got a warning light "coolant leak" . I was two blocks from my house and had to have it towed . They replaced the water pump and realized another hose was leaking . thus the engine has too come out and all the hoses and pipes have to be replaced . Its just a matter of aging . Its somewhat like my car had a mild heart attack but expects a full recovery . I have no idea of the cost . Im am bummed . I found out today .

2) I ordered a new Macan . I may haver to change the wheels as there is a stop sale . I love the black wheels but do not like the new RS design . Still debating race tex roof liner . Max timeline is 9 months on a Macan . Bobby you need one of these

Pontiff, that sucks about your Turbo. The Macan is growing on me but my wife LOVES her GLK and wont let it go. She’s next but I like your build and would get one.

Terrible news about the Turbo! I remember you considered (for a few seconds) parting with it. It's the "no idea of the cost" that scares me! Hope you won't have to sell your 992! LOL! Just kidding. Almost. Not the time to sell your stocks.

The front fascia is black plastic and its HUGE . White looks like a panda . Ideally Jet black goes well with the car but its would have been 4 in a row (out of 6) Macan's . Dolomite isn't GT silver. Night Blue is black enough to just get black. I am tired of volcano. Gentian doesn't look good ons a large SUV or with black wheels ,Looks great on a smaller vehicle. The bright colors are not me . I also wanted the GTS package. It has to blend with the light bar which is large and clear .

Thus I basically fell into chalk by the process of elimination I like the color . I just wish more choices were on the table .

That shock collar is my wife’s favorite if she Ever decides to get one.

Just teasing cause I know you love white but you’re absolutely right about the contrast of the new black front fascia with light colors and especially white. Chalk is very nice but non metallic. Seen it on my brothers 718 GTS 4.0 (attached) and on the 911 but not the Macan or Cayenne. It’s a more modern look. Congrats!

1) Estimated cost is in the 12K range on the 911 Turbo . Yikes . Working on alternatives .

Ha! Actually a better singer than guitar player…performed for over 30 years all over the place. Jersey shore, Casinos, Bars. I only do private events now, classic rock and no accordion thank God!

I am going to they and new cool and get a real number on the cost to repair my Turbo . Been reading Rennlist and the range is immense for the same job .
