Has anyone removed the protective film on the PCM? My SA told me to keep it on but its annoying looking at the large tab to pull it off!

I don’t see any on mine. I wonder if they removed it in PDI. I did talk to someone on the Macan forum who just bought a new car and did his interior with a special interior PPF. Cards against fingerprints and he absolutely loves it.

That’s what I was thinking, I bet they place PPF on it. I may inquire about that.

It was present when I went to collect my car. My SA said some people like it in place and others don’t. It was off in about 2 seconds for me. But I’ve had the whole of my car wrapped externally and the gloss black panel by the drive selector I did get PPF placed. As I guarantee it will get marked if I don’t have something there

Did you keep the protective film on your iPhone, watch, etc? I didn't. But my parents often kept these awful plastic covers on some furniture and certain objects like lamp shades.
