It's interesting but it's the author's personal taste. That said, if she likes Gentian Blue, she must be right! LOL! 😛

Jalopnik put together a list where they rank all the colors available on the 2022 911.
Here's the list. What do you think of the order?
- Python Green
- Racing Yellow
- Guards Red
- Shark Blue
- Carmine Red
- Gentian Blue
- Crayon
- Ruby Star Nero
- Aventurine Green
- Ice Grey
- Carrara White
- Arctic Grey
- Agate Grey
- GT Silver
- Jet Black
- White
- Black
Exactly Pontiff, tastes change and the colors are trendy but I would consider red or blue down the road but digging my GT Silver for now. It’s completely ridiculous. Colors are a personal taste choice. If they were to rank colors by number of cars sold that might be just an exact figure. It’s my opinion that black and white are the most popular colors. I believe white is the number one color choice of all cars. Python Green may be someone’s favorite color but by no means should that be the official criteria for ranking a color.
Of all the colors black, white, and guards red are timeless flat colors. GT Silver is the only metallic color that is not replaced .
Last time we looked up an auto journalist's personal car when he criticized the Macan it turned out to be an Acura . She doesn't even list her own car or color . Just sayin....I knew this post would get Larry all worked up. LOL!But it's only one person's opinion. Not a poll or even stats about the most popular sales. Just Elisabeth Blackstock's personal opinion. I will try to find the article I read about the most popular requested colors for the 992. Definetely NOT Green or Yellow!

People who live in places like California and Arizona have a lot of dust and dry heat. Black for them is a complete nightmare. Also if you Google California banning black cars you’ll see that they tried to do so 15 years ago. They are revisiting it recently. They are saying it’s environmental issues but the truth is culturally black is a total negative in those regions. In Miami where is a lot of humidity black doesn’t seem to collect that much dust. It’s hot but after a lot of black cars I’m kind of used to it.Even on RL black sucks! Wow what have I done…..

I only had 2 black cars but they were a nightmare to keep clean…..never again!People who live in places like California and Arizona have a lot of dust and dry heat. It’s really not bad for me. I think the regular black swirls quite easily but with ceramic that has been addressed. The metallic is easier to maintain. I don’t find difficulty with either but I do find it as I’ve gotten older the hot Florida sun is felt a lot harder on my body. It was one day I was driving back from a dental surgery in the heat with my face in extreme pain as the sun pounded down and I wish I had taken one of my lighter color cars.I only had 2 black cars but they were a nightmare to keep clean…..never again!
It is a full time for sure…no more black for me either! One of my cars is black, and it looks amazing when it's clean, but keeping it clean could be a full-time job. Never again. The bad part is I knew better when I bought it. The only other choice at the time was a dark gray, and to me, it's just a boring color. So, black it was. Ah well....
