Seat backs stuck

3543 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Barry Zalsman
I picked up my 992 in December. The seats sometimes stick in the upright position. No matter how hard I pull on the opener the seat won't tip forward. Other times it works fine. The dealer tells me this is normal and not fixable? Can this possibly be true?
Has anyone else experienced this?

update to this...now I have pulled out the leather loop. It's bound to break if you use your backseat often.
I had the same or similar problem until I started pulling the leather strap up at the same time as I pulled it. Try it - hope it helps
I was informed by Porsche to push the seat backwards while pulling the leather strap forwards. This seems to do the trick.

Happened to me also. Did you end up replacing the leather loop? Was it don under Porsche warranty?
