My car arrived at the port on 3/29 . Its 4/5 and the app says "port processing". Tracker says 4/15 . Dealership also says 4/15 on their system . A buddy of mine told me that the chips for the Bose is what they are waiting on . Apparently they are installing them at the port . I can not confirm this . It was however just posted on Macanforum as well so now thats 2 people . As hard as this has been for me Porsche has really been through the hurdles (boat sink, shortages, Covid , etc ) .

I wonder how this affects future orders .

Will let you know Larry! For now, my 911 is "scheduled for production"...until the next catastrophe I guess! It might just be a little miracle if it arrives at the dealer on June 17 as "expected" on my production event calendar. ;)

I'm still ecstatic after getting my allocation...so I'm enjoying the moment! LOL!

Hang tight for the 4/15 date. Mine was only a week off that date. 10 more days, you can do it!

I'm in the same position, car arrived at port on 3/28 and was just pushed out to load on vessel from 4/8 to 4/15! I was hoping it wasn't a chip issue however it may sound like it. I'm still glad its produced and almost here!

I am kinda bummed !!! I thought I'd have it by now. Thanks for the encouragement .
I know but the wait is worth it. I also found another odd design flaw with the radio. Using FM you can scroll through stations in ascending order, lowest to highest BUT when you set favorites they only work in descending order highest to lowest. MY SA stated that’s how it was designed, head scratcher for me.

Porsche technology is the worst. I go through a lot of this on the Macan Forum where someone asks to critique a build and it had a pile of expensive gadgets . The 911 gets most of it standard . I dont use any of it . I simply want my phone and sat radio and I am content .

That is what I understand. I think I can still make changes, but I'm pretty happy with my build. At 70 I am no longer a boy racer. Just an old guy looking to enjoy some driving.

Now that they have a projected date I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. The issue is that it is still a 2022 and I lose a year of depreciation almost immediately.

Geez, never thought of that, Don’t worry you would make it up if you sold it because new ones are going crazy on the market.Way over sticker.
