My son sent me a pic yesterday. His friend’s Dad just got a 992. It looked like a Turbo or Turbo S but the wing looked different. I was baffled until he sent the second pic.

TECHART! I’m embarrassed to say I had to Google it. So this company based in Germany solely modifies Porsches. And the modifications can be very expensive. Hmm.

I’ll have to tell my son to be careful who he hangs out with!

Geezz! It does have a white steering wheel! 🤔
When I was building my Macan back in 2018 my wife had her say regarding the interior. After she drives the car 95% of the time. There was an option for “bone” composite steering wheel. I personally do not like it. Did not see that option on 911 nor new macan.

Wow! You weren’t kidding about the « white » steering wheel. So, does your wife like it?

Maybe it’s this one (see pic) in the Techart? I can just imagine how crazy the configuration would be if we had all those options available directly from Porsche on the configurator. Apparently, a 992 Techart mod can fetch 100K! For the person who already has « EVERYTHING »! 🤪

My wife loves it. I personally do not. It is slippery, not breathable. But matches the dash😝

I didn't notice the white steering wheel either but options are always good!
My aero kit and steering wheel are Techart in my 997 . It is amazing quality stuff . The steering wheel is hand made . I bought a basic leather wheel for a mere 2500 bucks . Its not cheap but great materials .

I had a tech art 997 turbo as well. I was a huge fan of what they did on that gen. The modern stuff is a little too aggressive for me personally but I still appreciate their fit and finish/quality.

Beautiful! I found mine in the early fearful days of Covid and won’t say how affordable it was… couldn’t turn down the value towards my 992…. But my gosh what a special car. I’ll try to find pics of my interior and electronics as well… it was done by AI design in NY.

I also did an update on the interior and electronics. I had to as it was the one thing about the 997 that was just so dated. My dealership has my car still in the service department and I’m too afraid to call them. I know it’s a big job even though it’s not a serious job. I think I fear the bill and they fear telling it to me because they don’t want to offend me the engine Hass to come out to replace the one hose that broke. Once it’s out they may as well replace all the hoses because that’s the result of aging . It’s a tedious long job at $260 an hour just for labor.

Oh no…good luck Pontiff!
