What do most people get covered on their cars for PPF? My 718 has front bumper, hood, fenders, rockers, door handles, mirrors and rear bumper/behind the wheel well and back and that seemed like a lot. Is that fairly standard for 992 as well or do people go full PPF? Less?
I never did PPF until this 992 . In fact I did not get it on my 23 Macan . Much depends on where you live and drive (potholes, rocks , a lot of daytime highway ). I did the standard things which you stated above . I did not to the lights . There is mixed opinion on damage from doing the lights (its a debate topic for some). I have yet to have a stone hit my car in 10K miles . Now watch a boulder hit my car today .. just kidding .
I picked up. My GT3 T several weeks ago and had full front and rear PPF Kravaca ceramic pro and then had the rest of the car with the new ION ceramic coating with lifetime warranty. Ive had xpel and other films but the new kravaca is in my opinion superior. At the end of the day you can’t go wrong with any of them. The kravaca just had been updated with the newest technology. These cars taken care of properly are real investments.
I’m no expert on the products but just use something to protect it for sure!
Larry, didn’t do headlights either but the installer doesn’t use it there anyway so I didn’t need to make that decision.
